Dear Fellow Band Members:
Our 40th year!!! Can you believe it? On behalf of the NCB Board of Directors, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome each of you back for the start of this historic anniversary year. Our goal as always is to provide quality musical programming the greater Naples community has come to expect from the Naples Concert Band.
Your board of directors, band director Harris Lanzel and our public relations company have been meeting monthly to promote the name of the Naples Concert Band through the local media, schedule visiting and local artists to perform with the band, finalize the scheduling of Cambier Park, rehearsal space at Gulf View Middle School and to contract Saturday venues for our special anniversary concert and for the return of prodigy, Geoffrey Gallante.
As you can see, our 40th year will be one to remember. All the action starts with our first rehearsal on Tuesday evening, September 27, 2011 at 7pm at Gulf View Middle School.
My special thanks to all board members, Harris and Gail Webster of IMA Creative,Inc., for all their help and support they have shown me and for their dedication and commitment to the Naples Concert Band.
