CURRENT ROLE:

1998 - 2022:  Sioux Falls Municipal Band Conductor / Bandmaster

• Conducted Municipal Band concerts at various venues throughout Sioux Falls; provided enjoyable, free-of-charge entertainment experience for concert goers.

• Created up to 38 unique annual concerts performed over 12 weeks concert season.  

• Coordinated with community partners to set up concert season; selected repertoire based on venue and demographics. 

• Assigned parts based on individual players' skill levels and strengths. 

• Served as public liaison for band; scheduled and presented radio and television interviews. 

• Maintained and managed band-owned assets; regularly inventoried and updated repertoire library; ordered new music based on concert needs and availability. 

• Managed annual budget for band· prepared and filed annual report. 

• Appointed first ever Conductor Emeritus in band's 103 year history.
