RANGE OF EXPERIENCE:

  • Over 43 years of teaching bands and jazz ensembles, conducting music literature for beginning to advanced levels

  • Music Theatre conducting experience with pit orchestras for American musical theater productions

  • Music educator who has brought clinicians such as Wynton Marsalis, The Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra and the Canadian Brass to his students/schools

  • Teaching experience in in Europe, the Middle & Far East, the Caribbean and Indonesia, resulting in a wealth of experience communicating and working with people of diverse cultural backgrounds as well as learning and conducting a wide variety of band music from around the world

  • Successful track record of building and expanding participation of large, successful music programs around the world.
